William D. McCormick, M.D.

William D. McCormick, M.D. was born and raised in Windsor Ontario, Canada. He received his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario, Canada and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Ottawa, Canada. He continued his training with an arthroscopy fellowship in Vancouver, Canada and added a second fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery in Auckland, New Zealand before starting practice in Charleston WV in 2013. Dr. McCormick is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Canada since 2011 and is Board Eligible with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He specializes in arthroscopy of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle as well as full service shoulder and elbow treatment. Dr. McCormick is affiliated with Thomas Hospital as well as maintaining privileges at CAMC.
